Settling Softly videos

Settling Softly is a series of seven video ‘pods’ that feature key insights from the hub network and other school facilitators. It captures the research from the report by Western Sydney University; Knowledge Translation to Support Early Learning of Refugee Children and their families. One of the central ideas that emerged across the research was that a ‘soft’ entry point, where newcomers could feel safe, supported and learn about their new home, was critical to successful settlement.
