Mid-Year Update 2024

During the first six months of 2024, our community hubs provided vital access and support to families.  

Highlights include: 

• engaged with 9,097 families  

• ran 3,456 early childhood activities helping children develop social and language skills, resilience, and being ready for kindergarten or school 

• provided 2,845 classes for participants to learn and practise their English 

• made 5,042 referrals to external support services, including family support, emergency aid, education and training  

• partnered with 410 local organisations who facilitate programs, offer counselling and support, and donate funding or resources 

• provided volunteering opportunities to 993 people and,  

• helped participants secure 226 jobs.
